Why Spokane?

Every young person today has countless options in life, what sets Spokane Master's Commission apart from every other option? What sets Spokane apart from every other Master's Commission? Here's four reasons Spokane is worth the risk.

  • Track Record: SMC isn't a new program, in fact, we've been around for 12 years and our graduates lives prove that this program works. Nearly all our graduates are actively involved in ministry and not just church based ministry, but also fields ranging from movie producing to medicine. Nothing communicates success like a great track record and we have one.
  • Staff Leaders to Student Ratio: Each student that comes to SMC won't be another face in the crowd. You'll get to mingle with some great young leaders who have experience each day. Our staff is also a part of our great track record.
  • Our Church: Turning Point Open Bible (www.turningpointspokane.org) also has a great heritage of producing young leaders all around the world. We have great influence in the Spokane area and are known for having a spirit of excellence and friendliness. Oh, and you'll love our senior pastor.
  • We are Pioneers: Throughout our history, we have a reputation of pioneering new opportunities for young people, whether it is film producing or internet evangelism. If you are unique and like experiencing new ways to fulfill the great commission, this is definitely the place for you.

Many things don't last long enough to establish a history. We've worked hard to build one that lasts and leaves an imprint on our culture. There have been a number of things the Lord has created and done through our ministry. There have been a number of mountain moving events we've seen. But nothing says history more than the graduates who have come from SMC and are currently changing the face of our world.
