At Spokane Master's Commission we seek to fulfill this Great Commission through "Knowing God and making him known." On a daily basis each student is given opportunities to develop the gifts and abilities God has given them. We challenge our disciples to experience the power of God by facing their fears, forcing them to step out and rely on the Holy Spirit. We believe it is not only our responsibility, but also our calling to bring the message of hope to a world that has forgotten the cross.
Evangelism
Our desire in this area of ministry has two purposes. First, to bring the love of the eternally faithful God to this world, which is blinded by the lies of the enemy. Second, to train, equip, and build up young men and women to be unashamed and effective in communicating the Gospel. We take seriously the mandate of the Great Commission and show that through creative ways, such as: Neighborhood Outreaches, Block Parties, and partnering with outreach centers.
Fusion Youth Church
At SMC one of our greatest opportunities is found in Fusion Youth Church. On a weekly basis our students invest in the lives of tomorrow's leaders through relationship development. Young people are encouraged to raise the bar in their walk with God and set a new standard in their schools.
Children's Ministries
Our children’s ministries bring so much excite to SMC and our church. We have the distinct honor and privilege in serving our children. Wednesday nights are chalked full of adventure as we take a group of kids and discover truths about Jesus and His Word. We serve grades Pre-school through Grade School.
Creative Ministry Teams
The youth of today demand a connection with something real... something that can be seen. Creative Ministry Teams attempt to meet that need by allowing our students to explore modern venues and expand their God-given creativity.
Missions/Tours
When Jesus went to the cross, He died for the whole world. SMC travels globally bringing that message of hope to the lost, and encouragement to God's people. This gives our students the opportunity to experience hands-on ministry, discover their gifts, and find the value of pouring into other's lives.
It is considered an untouchable and unapproachable area of ministry: our public school system. BackDraft is SMC’s school assembly program. We talk to thousands of young people inspiring messages of hope, purpose, dreams and the importance of vision. We communicate our message through various ways such as live-music videos, power feats, reality perspectives and so much more. We ultimately provide real solutions to real issues.
